Christopher Fincken

Christopher has been a member of the Council from 2009 and was its Chair from 2012-2017. He was the first non-clinician to be appointed a Caldicott Guardian in an acute NHS Hospital Trust (Hereford) serving for eleven years before volunteering for five years as a Caldicott Guardian for Marie Curie. He is the author of Striking the Balance, guidance for information sharing in relation to Domestic Violence ; and represents UKCGC on the INCADVA (Inter-Collegiate & Agency National Domestic Violence & Abuse Forum). He chairs and presents at conferences, writes, and provides Caldicott Guardian training through Healthcare Conferences UK.
