Dr Chris Bunch

Chris is a retired consultant physician at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he was Caldicott Guardian for 25 years and is now the Data Protection Officer. He joined the Council in 2015 and was Chairman from 2017–2022.

Chris's interests and expertise include information protection, privacy by design, and the interface between clinical care and research.
