An online evening class for Caldicott Guardians

The class aims to spread good practice and share ideas for practical implementation.

You must be a Caldicott Guardian, or someone performing the Caldicott function for your organisation.

Learning objectives:

• To be able to recognise contextual nuances in similar requests for advice

• To be able to develop evaluated support mechanisms for CGs and their team/organisation to use

  • In an emergency

  • For questions which are out of the ordinary

  • For ongoing organisational and continuing professional development

You will:

• Explore and evaluate support mechanisms which are freely available to all CGs and when each might be appropriate

• Have the opportunity to develop a support network to meet your (or your organisation’s) needs

Format

• a one-hour, online session

• interactive elements (i.e. delegates will participate in discussions)

Skill level requirement

Foundation. This is a practical opportunity for CGs who have not yet developed a support network in their current role or who wish to review theirs due to a change in need.
